Peer Support Specialist Certification Training - Weekday Class

Learn how to assist residents of your community! Peer Support Specialists are individuals with lived experiences in mental health and substance abuse. Peer support helps people manage mental illnesses, cope with stress, depression, anxiety, or other psychological challenges. Peer Support Specialist link clients to resources not limited to healthcare, housing, education and employment.

The completed application and an interview is required, to be selected for training. applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

A max of 15 students per class. Students are enrolled at an ongoing basis.

You must attend/complete the 40 hour training, and pass the certification exam to become a certified Peer Support Specialist.
